SE. Sweetwater är en norsk-svensk science fiction-, drama- och thrillerfilm från 1988 i regi av Lasse Glomm och med manus av Glomm och Petter Skavlan. I rollerna ses bland andra Bentein Baardson, Petronella Barker och Alphonsia Emmanuel.
Efter ett stort ödeläggande krig flyttar den unge arkitekten Allan ut från staden Sweetwater till en soptipp. Där lever han tillsammans med familjen och livnär sig på soporna från staden. Det största problemet är att få tag på färskvatten och i sökandet efter detta stöter Allan på en rad personer som blir hans vänner. Till slut sprids våldet från staden ända ut till soptippen.
EN. The action takes place in a grim anarchist future civilization after a big crash or war. A young man, Allan (Bentein Baardson), decides to move out of the city as his family live in. He brings his wife, Lisa ('Petronella Barker'), and the son to a big garbage dump located outside the city. Where they settle and survive on the waste they find on the dump. They are in many ways more closely related to each other by living this way, and Lisa eventually becomes pregnant. But there is a great shortage of water (Sweetwater) and the family of three must go out and look for water. When they discover they are not alone in staying in landfill. It will be a struggle for existence.

EN. Pepiwe (played by Jose Gregorio Payema) is a Yanomami boy living in a Catholic mission. After getting into an argument with his teacher about the name of his river (she says Rio Siapa; he calls it Periquitos), Pepiwe decides to return to the jungle to look for his family. He paddles down the Orinoco with his dog and parrot, and during a stopover on land he meets yet another nun (Flor Núñez), but not one from his mission. She pays the boy to show him the way to San Carlos de Rio Negro (by the Colombian border). He reluctantly agrees, but after a day's journey the nun tries to sneak away and loses the canoe. Ya-Koo has elements of a road movie with comically mismatched traveling companions, and the two leads have great chemistry, but it is much more than that. When we see Pepiwe in his own element, wise in his own jungle, feeding and caring for both himself and the lost nun in the beautiful and deadly rain forest, we feel that an entire culture and way of life is being celebrated. And also, perhaps, mourned. Ya-Koo is the Tupi word for good-bye.

EN. A Summer in La Goulette (French: Un été à La Goulette, Arabic: صيف حلق الوادي‎) is a 1996 film by Tunisian director Férid Boughedir. It is a narrative of how intercommunal relations deteriorated in cosmopolitan La Goulette after the end of French rule, especially Muslim-Jewish relations affected by the Six-Day War and the rising impact of Islam on Tunisian society.
The film also features La Goulette native Claudia Cardinale as herself. The film was entered into the 46th Berlin International Film Festival.
Summer, 1967. La Goulette, the touristic beach of Tunisia, is the site where three nice seventeen-year-old girls live: Gigi, Sicilian and Catholic; Meriem, Tunisian and Arab; Tina, French and Jewish. They would like to have their first sexual experience during that summer, challenging their families. Their fathers, Youssef, Jojo and Giuseppe, are old friends and their friendship will be in crisis because of the girls, while Hadj, an old rich Arab, would like to marry Meriem. Andrea tries to reassure Felice while also figuring out who the man is and what he's doing in the sea.

 Vägen till Gyllenblå! (English: The Road to Golden Blue) is a Swedish science fiction TV miniseries that premiered on 29 December 1985.
Ratio Rasch, the president of planet Gyllenblå, has banned laughter and emotions in order to create a society based on reason. Police are constantly patrolling the planet and anyone caught laughing is imprisoned and given anti-laughter serum. Only a few members of an underground guerrilla oppose the president. On Earth, the eccentric Dr. Krull listens to signals from outer space and realizes that something needs to be done so he sends the two children Cecilie and Fredrik to Gyllenblå. Epicykel, a guerrilla member, senses their presence and hopes to get to them first but fails. The children are put in school, where Fredrik has great difficulty controlling his laughter but Cecilie adapts well. The guerrilla knows that laughter is contagious and Fredrik gives them new hope of returning laughter to the people of Gyllenblå.

1. After the death of her mother, high school student Mari ends up in an orphanage. Three days later, the girl returns home, but her drunken father makes it clear almost from the door that she doesn't belong here.
The night spent at the train station ends for Mari with an acquaintance with an aggressive group of teenagers, led by Robi, and being driven to the police. In the morning, the fugitive leaves the cell: the orphanage teacher came for her.
The orphanage has its own internal hierarchy. The dashing guy Robi is considered the informal leader. The guys obey him and readily obey. The polite, intelligent Tauri, who, unlike the other pupils, has a respectable and very busy father, takes custody of the newcomer. FR. Une fillette de 6 ans, Sarah, s'enfuit de son orphelinat. Elle ne veut pas se séparer de son petit chien, Toto, qui lui donne beaucoup d'affection. Elle rencontre alors Aurélien Brada, ancien pilote de Formule 1, dont la carrière fut brisée à cause d'un accident. Aurélien Brada décide de protéger la petite Sarah dans sa fugue. Ils croisent sur leur chemin divers personnages (une folle échappée d'un asile, un éleveur de putois, des représentants de l'autorité, une noble au volant d'une Rolls Royce, Dédé-la-Terreur, des religieuses...) et sont poursuivis sans relâche par le commissaire Franquette. Après maintes péripéties, les héros s'enfuient en hélicoptère vers les rivages ensoleillés de l'Océanie.

A man walks with his child on the grass of a hill. He reaches an old country house, where years before he had spent his childhood during World War II. The deserted and desolate rooms make him travel back in memory to the time when the war was ending. Episodes of family life pass before his eyes: father, mother, grandmother and six children, of which he, Silvano, the youngest, was made mute by the shock of a bomb exploding. He remembers the meetings with Crimen, an old man who lived alone on the mountain. People said that when he was young he ate his wife out of love for her. Fascism has crumbled. In the chaos of the Liberation, Silvano's father is threatened. The boy, returning home from a stay in the hospital, hears that Crimen is dead. After a fight with his father, Silvano runs away to the mountain to find Crimen, but after the long road there it's not the boy who arrives, but Silvano as an adult. He observes the refuge in which the old man lives, and is moved by the human words of solidarity that the old man used to whisper to him.

EN. Two brothers in their 40s are found dead in the forest. By their side lies a woman, very weak, but still alive. "All that matters is past" is the story of how Janne meets William after many years of separation. She leaves her family to live with him in a cabin by the river. They recreate the feeling of love and lust that they had as children, being sweethearts playing in the woods. But one day a Chinese baby girl is found floating down the river, and they realize that they are being haunted by William's brother. William and Janne runs further into the woods, trying to escape from their nemesis.

NO. I Margrethe Robsahms debutfilm møter vi syv år gamle Marin, som bor på en idyllisk sørlandsøy sammen med moren sin og to brødre. Det er i slutten av 40-årene, og Marins far er i fengsel for angivervirksomhet under krigen. Marin opplever de voksnes verden som falsk. De voksne straffer henne ved å minne om farens svik, og samtidig blir hennes forsøk på å få vite hva som virkelig har skjedd med faren avvist og fortiet. Hennes eneste støttepunkt er tante Ally, en vimsete og velmenende person med skrekk for tordenvær. Sommeren er lys og vakker, men også en annen mørk sky ligger over Marin. Hun skal sendes på skole i hovedstaden til høsten.
EN. Begynnelsen på en historie (English: The beginning of a story) is a 1988 Norwegian drama film directed by Margarete Robsahm, starring Linda Pedersen, Wenche Foss and Linn Stokke.
It is summer in the late 1940s, and seven-year-old Maren (Pedersen) lives with her mother and two brothers on an island. Her father is in prison for treason during World War II. When summer is over, Maren has to move into boarding school in a big city, a fact that hangs like a cloud over the joy of summer for her.

Anna-Maijaa haukutaan koulussa lehmäntatiksi, mutta äiti ja isä eivät tiedä sitä. Kiusaaminen paljastuu, kun äiti ostaa kaupasta kahdeksan peiliä.Anna-Maijan kiusaaminen alkaa koulun kuusijuhlassa, kun Anna-Maijan ihastus suutelee kesken joulunäytelmän. Kun muut ilahtuvat peilistä, niin Anna-Maija rikkoo omansa ja pakenee metsään. Äiti löytää itkevän Anna-Maijan rannalta ja kuulee kiusaamisesta. Äidille asia on tuttu, myös häntä on kiusattu Anna-Maijan ikäisenä.

The story of three young girls trying to stick together as they get trapped in a sea cave filled with crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions, and monstrous elephant seals.
With the whole film’s focus on the three girls, it was critical that they are engaging and actually good in their roles. And while it might be a push to say they are all great actors, they have an undeniable charm and it’s easy to get caught up in their story. But beyond their acting abilities, they filmed all their own stunts in the movie. And there are a lot of stunts. Things are obviously filmed very cleverly so that stunts that look dangerous almost definitely aren’t but lets not take anything away from the young actors. There is lots to do in this movie. Whether it’s swimming big waves, clinging on to a surfboard, being surrounded by sea lions or jumping from rocks. It all looks great too. There is some CGI used but it absolutely works and doesn’t take away from the real things that are happening on screen.
